If you wish to install the Hydrosave at the same time as the hot water supply pipe (i.e in a new or refurbishment plumbing program), then you can reduce your costs as you will not need the self cutting tap or connection hose, as a standard copper T connector and isolating valve can be used instead of the self cutting tap (with its integral isolating valve) and the water valve can be fitted inline with a copper take-off pipe, using the supplied 15mm 'push in' fittings at each end. The outlet hose can be attached to an in-line double check valve (with 15mm push in fittings) that is still required by law if piping to the outside of the house or to a different internal water system to prevent back siphoning. See this example (Location#3) of a installation done this way.
